No Sad Emoji Faces…It’s All Good!

This is the face of Alzheimer’s Disease-Friends it’s true Denny has AD-he has MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment). There are 60 reasons people have MCI one of them is AD-we are extremely blessed to have been led to meet this man Dr. Kent Peppard-we were given the opportunity for Denny to take a test called an Amyloid Pet Scan which gave us the ability to learn this diagnosis-Denny is high functioning as those of you that are around him know-still golfs in the High 70’s, can still tell a story like no one else, he’s loving and kind as always, great Husband, Father, Papa and Friend-words escape him hence making preaching too difficult anymore. If you’re asking yourself “how can I help” I have a way-over the years I have collected every audio and video tape Denny has preached-they are tucked away in my attic, not helping anyone-people ask Denny all the time “where can I hear you preach”-well no where-and we can’t even point them to a website to hear a message-if a few of you could help me chronologically put these messages on line I know it would be a blessing to so many and bring others into Eternity! It’s a big job that I have tried to do alone but have found impossible. We will live our lives out loud as we always have-not in secret-not in hushed tones-we will learn everything we can about this disease and teach what we’ve learned with passion-this is the face of AD and AD has never seen a more “game on” opponent-AD will not put Baby in a corner-just watch us shine in the midst of trial-hide it under a bushel NO! On an even more personal note: Denny is my National Treasure and I’m sure many of you feel the same. Like all of you-I have faced hundreds of physical and mental gut wrenching trials in my life-God told me “all the times you had tears in your ears I was preparing you for this”! Please keep Denny in your prayers for healing-we have no doubt God can heal and actually from my vantage point God already has in many ways and through many people-one little step at a time*

Please no emoji sad faces, even though I understand this may make you feel sad. 😊😊 We have a confidence that only Jesus Christ can give and that is our hope for all of you when you also face all kinds of trials* I will consistently share what we are learning. And we will be forever grateful for your prayers, because we can never underestimate the power of prayer* God bless you Friends! We love you! xox #Alzheimer #Alzheimers #AD #KentPeppard #DaleBredesen #UCLA
